Introducing Harold Archambeau's One and Only Custom Guitars

Now Available Through Arizona Guitars and Gear LLC

We are proud to partner with master craftsman Harold "Hal" Archambeau, a Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery graduate (Class of 1978), to offer handcrafted acoustic and electric guitars built one at a time with exceptional attention to detail.

Inspired by the timeless designs of Martin, Gibson, and Fender, each instrument combines traditional craftsmanship with Hal's unique artistic touches, resulting in guitars that are beautiful, playable, and truly one of a kind.

Quality First

Every guitar Hal builds begins with a commitment to quality. From carefully selected tonewoods to meticulous hand craftsmanship, each instrument is built to deliver exceptional tone, playability, and lasting beauty.

Expert Care

Hal personally crafts, assembles, and sets up each instrument by hand, combining traditional luthiery with decades of fine woodworking experience. No two guitars are exactly alike, because each receives the individual attention it deserves.

Real Results

The result is more than just a guitar—it's a handcrafted instrument designed to inspire for years to come. Whether acoustic or electric, every One and Only Custom Guitar reflects Hal's passion for creating instruments that musicians are proud to own and play.

Hal's Participation in the Roberto-Venn 50th Anniversary Guitar Making Project

As part of his dedication to the craft of guitar building, Harold Archambeau was honored to participate in the Roberto-Venn 50th Anniversary Guitar Making Project, a special celebration recognizing five decades of excellence in professional guitar making education.

The project commemorates the remarkable history behind Roberto-Venn and the unique materials that helped establish the school. The story begins in the late 1960s, when rare tropical hardwoods—including Nicaraguan rosewood and mahogany—made their way from the jungles of Nicaragua to Phoenix, Arizona. These historic woods became a foundational part of the journey that led to the creation of the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in 1975.

To celebrate the school's 50th anniversary, select graduates and guitar-building companies connected to the Roberto-Venn community were gifted portions of this remaining historic Nicaraguan rosewood and mahogany to create special anniversary instruments. The completed guitars and stringed instruments represent the craftsmanship, dedication, and legacy passed down through generations of builders.

Harold's participation in this project reflects his commitment to preserving the traditions of fine instrument building while contributing his own creativity and craftsmanship to the ongoing story of guitar making.

Each instrument created under Harold Archambeau's One and Only Custom Guitars carries the spirit of a builder who respects the past, embraces innovation, and believes that every guitar should have its own unique voice.
